SRU Softball Donation

Rock Softball is looking forward to when we can return to competition. Until then, we are working with our student athletes on a voluntary basis. Some are at home for the semester, whereas others are at off-campus apartments. We host mandatory weekly zoom meetings to discuss academic progress and allow voluntary small group instruction for workouts. If we meet in-person with our student athletes, safety is our top priority. We social distance, use face coverings, and of course, lots of hand sanitizer and hand-washing hygiene.

We are unsure how COVID-19 will affect our fundraising for the 2021 season. We anticipate some struggles due to the inability to host on-campus events like our annual camps and clinics, tournaments and alumni events. Uncertainties also include travel restrictions, playing schedule, university budget cuts and safety requirements. Since our program is not fully-funded and statewide budget cuts are possible, we anticipate will need funding for equipment, permissible travel and scholarships. Although we may not know exactly what this year entails, we do know that we will do our best to raise funds to make sure Rock Softball is safe, competitive, and prepared when it’s time to play.

Lastly, those who give at $150.00 or more during the duration of our campaign will receive a Rock Softball hat!

Thank you for supporting Rock Softball! As always, GO ROCK!
