Men's Soccer Donation
Slippery Rock University welcomed a new addition May 30 as a new press box was installed at the Jim Egli Soccer Field.
The Slippery Rock University Men’s Soccer team is built on a history of commitment, hard work, and pride. As an alumni student-athlete, you understand the importance of sports in the collegiate experience and what it truly means to proudly wear the green and white.
Our team is working hard to continue the traditions that have been put in place by great alumni like yourself. Having claimed 8 PSAC championships, we want to bring number 9 back to the Rock! Also, in 2018 and 2019 the Rock will play host to the NCAA Men’s and Women’s National Soccer Championships in Pittsburgh. While we are excited to host this event, we want to play for a National Championship. In 2019 the ROCK will play host to the NCAA men’s and women’s soccer national championships, and we want to do more than host the tournament. We want to be playing in it!
Scholarships allow us to recruit and retain the best and brightest student athletes to the ROCK Men’s Soccer Program. This year, we’d like to secure $45,000 in private funding to support scholarship aid to our current roster and the incoming class of ROCK Men’s Soccer freshman.
