Dr. Jerry Chmielewski Scholarship

The Dr. Jerry Chmielewski scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to students enrolled at Slippery Rock University and support a full-time student. A student must be nominated by a faculty member that writes a letter addressing the student's work ethic and passion for learning beyond the classroom. The student must be a rising junior or senior and they must be in a department related to science, technology, engineering, math, or health. Nominated students will need to supply a resume and an essay describing their career goals. With this scholarship, one student per year is awarded an amount of $1,250.
