The Wilma J. Cavill Endowed Scholarship Donation

On May 15th, SRU said goodbye to its "eldest statesperson" as Wilma Cavill died at the age of 88. Wilma Cavill's incredible legacy spanned for over 60 years of contributions to SRU and its students. Cavill's affiliation with the University runs deep, from educating thousands of students, pioneering women's athletics, settling disputes as a faculty union leader, and serving under nine presidents.

The purpose of The Wilma J. Cavill Endowed Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a full time student enrolled at Slippery Rock University majoring in Safety Management, who is a Pennsylvania resident and that demonstrates financial need.
