Bruno Zuccala Scholarship Donation

​Bruno Zuccala’s lifetime contribution to music is immeasurable.   Recently recognized by the Drum Corps International with an induction into the organizations Hall of Fame, Bruno has dedicated his career to music and music education – dedicating over 30 years to teaching, and inspiring, students in Western PA.  

Here at Slippery Rock University, we are massively proud of Bruno.   As both an alum, and a currently member of the SRU Marching Pride staff, Bruno’s commitment to excellence is reflected in the success of his students.

In honor of Bruno’s life work, and his recent honor through the Drum Corps International, the Bruno Zuccala Scholarship was created.   The scholarship will provide financial aid to a member of Slippery Rock University’s Winterguard Program – which was created by Bruno and has provided countless opportunities for growth both academically and personally for so many SRU students.
